Jeff & Sue also happen to have a talent for photography so we are delighted to be able to share what they captured during the tour. (Except where indicated, the photos are by Jeff.) Our Italian adventure begins with food and family… Cagliari is the capital city of the Italian island of Sardinia…Bellisima! Mercato San Benedetto Visiting the Museo Archeologico Nazionale Explorations in the Sardinian Nuragic civilisation… Olives, Bread and Wine with the Orro Family and sightseeing in Oristano… Rice and Cheese! Culinary adventures in Sardinia… We’ve always wondered; now we know… how the sausage is made! Food & Archeology… Culurgiones ogliastrini & Nuragic ruins… Nuragic giant & farewell to Sardinia This was all part of the Giants of Sardinia tour which will be taking place again from 28 September –5 October 2024.
